The app won’t connect to my Wi-Fi feeder. What should I do?

Make sure you are using the Molly & Cody Smart app, turn on Bluetooth on your phone, reset the feeder, connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz is not supported), and keep the feeder close to the router during setup.
Why is my feeder not dispensing food on schedule?

This may happen if the feeder’s clock isn’t synced with local time. Ensure it’s connected to home Wi-Fi (not Bluetooth only), turn off Bluetooth, dispense once via the app to confirm Wi-Fi, then keep it plugged in for 24 hours.
Why is the feeder dispensing inaccurate portions or no food at all?

Inaccurate portions may occur when gaps form between kibble. Gently shake the bin so kibble settles evenly. If no food dispenses, ensure kibble is 14 mm or smaller, clean the container and outlet sensor, then try a manual feed to check the rotor.
Will the feeder work during power outages, and how long does the battery last?

Yes. The feeder has a dual power system with outlet power and battery backup to keep scheduled feedings running during outages. On battery only, it follows the preset schedule but app control is unavailable.
What should I do if the feeder has no response when powered on?

Make sure the DC cable is securely connected and the power switch is on. The feeder includes a DC cable only (no adapter), so confirm your adapter works or try another one. Check the cable for damage if there’s no response.
